Section 20-6 -- Electrical

a. Ignition system must be standard for make and model. Automatic advance in distributor must be in complete working condition. Any make or brand of points may be used. NASCAR approved transistor systems may be used.

b. Any make or brand of spark plugs may be used. This applies to all late model divisions as well as speed trial and record attempts.

c. Batteries must remain under hood as near original standard lcoation as possible and must be standard size for make and model.

d. The generator system must be working within specifications.

e. Self-starter must be in working order. All cars must start under their own power. After race is underway, cars may be started by hand pushing in pit area only, but under no circumstances is any car to be pushed or towed onto race track from pit area. Violation means disqualification.
