1970 NASCAR International Stock Car Racing Rule Book NASCAR Grand National Championship Circuit Section 20-30 -- Seats

a. Rear seat and rear cushions must be removed.

b. Tracks on all adjustable seats must be bolted or welded solid so seat will not shift or loosen on impact. (See diagrams on rear pages of Rule Book).

c. Bucket seats compulsory but must be factory manufactured. Positively no homemade aluminum, plastic or fiberglass seats allowed.

d. NASCAR-approved padded head rest mandatory. (See Safety Regulations).
