Section 20-29 -- Identification

a. Officially issued numbers must be at least eighteen inches high and neatly painted on both sides of the car, and on trunk lid (positioned on center of lid) and facing rear of car. A number 36 inches high must be painted on the roof, reading from the driver's side.

b. Numbers on car and division must correspond with car owner's registration card.

c. Block type numbers, as large as possible, must be on outer headlight and tailight covers.

d. Numerals indicating the cubic inch displacement of engine must be painted on both sides of hood in numerals at least eight inches high.

e. All decals are adhesive-backed emblems supplied by manufacturers for advertising or identification on Competition Touring Sedan race cars are limited in size to the area of a 32 square inch rectangle. Only decals of participating manufacturers will be permitted. Slogans will not be permitted. Decal sizes will be determined by multiplying the widest dimension and longest dimension of any decal, regardless of the decal shape. NASCAR reserves the right to assign or restrict the display of decals, identification and advertising on race cars.
