1975 NASCAR International Stock Car Racing Rule Book NASCAR Grand National ® Championship Division Section 20-24 -- Seats

a. Rear seat and rear cushions must be removed.

b. Tracks on all adjustable seats must be bolted or welded solid so seat will not shift or loosen on impact. (See diagrams on rear pages of Rule Book).

c. NASCAR approved bucket seats compulsory but must be factory manufactured. Positively no homemade aluminum or plastic seats allowed. Fiberglass seats with a complete NASCAR approved steel frame will be permitted.

d. NASCAR approved padded head rest mandatory.
