a. Any NASCAR approved four-barrel carburetor properly installed will be permitted. Approval of carburetor shall mean approval for all competitors and cost of carburetor shall be a factor of consideration for approval. b. Carburetor cannot be altered in any manner. c. Fuel injection or superchargers not permitted. d. All engines restricted to one four-barrel carburetor having a 1 11/16" throttle bore. (NO HOLLEY 4500 Series or no inline carburetor permitted. e. Only 2 paper gaskets (1 per side) maximum thickness .050 will be permitted on the adaptor plate used with the NASCAR approved carburetor. f. Jets may be any size. g. Heat riser may be blocked. h. Any NASCAR approved gasoline filter may be used. This applies to all late model divisions as well as speed trials and record attempts. i. When carburetor restrictors are required they must be furnished by the competitors. (Contact Grand National suppliers).
