1974 NASCAR International Stock Car Racing Rule Book Section 5 -- Performance Trials

Conditions governing all safety and/or performance trials to be operated under the auspices of NASCAR and for which certificates of performance are to be issued shall be established and approved by the NASCAR Technical Committee and shall be approved by the National Stock Car Racing Commission.
